Update Your Business Listing on Apple Maps

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

• A valid Apple ID account
• Access to the business listing you want to update
• Updated business information ready to submit
• Administrative rights to make changes to your business listing

Instructions

Step 1: Access Apple Places Portal

1. Navigate to https://register.apple.com/placesonmaps/
2. This will take you to the Apple Places registration and management portal

Step 2: Sign In to Your Account

1. Click on Sign in with your Apple ID
2. Enter your Apple ID credentials
3. Complete the authentication process

Step 3: View Your Business Listings

1. You'll be redirected to https://register.apple.com/placesonmaps/claimed-places
2. This page displays all your active business listings
3. Review the list to locate the business you want to update

Step 4: Select Your Business

1. From the list of claimed places, click on the business listing you want to edit
2. This will open the business details management interface

Step 5: Update Business Information

You can modify the following elements of your business listing:

Display Name

1. Click on the Display Name section
2. Edit your business name as needed
3. Click Send to Apple to submit the change

Location

1. Select the Location section
2. Update or modify your business address
3. Click Send to Apple to submit the address change

Place Details

1. Navigate to the Place Details section
2. Update the following information as needed:
   • Contact phone number
   • Website address
   • Business category
3. Click Send to Apple to submit these changes

Business Hours

1. Click on the Business Hours section
2. Update your operating hours for each day of the week
3. Click Send to Apple to submit the updated hours

Step 6: Submit Changes

1. After making all necessary updates, ensure you've clicked Send to Apple for each modified section
2. Your changes will be submitted to Apple for review
3. Apple will review and approve the updates before they appear on Apple Maps

Important Notes

• Changes typically take 2-5 business days to appear on Apple Maps
• Apple reviews all submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• You can make multiple updates to different sections simultaneously
• Keep your business information current to help customers find you easily

Verification

After submitting your updates:

• Check your email for confirmation from Apple
• Monitor your Apple Maps listing for approved changes
• Verify that all information displays correctly on Apple Maps

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while updating your listing:

• Ensure you're using the correct Apple ID associated with your business
• Verify you have claimed ownership of the business listing
• Check that all required fields are completed accurately
• Try refreshing the page if the interface becomes unresponsive

• "Business not found": You may need to first claim your business listing
• "Changes not saving": Ensure you click "Send to Apple" after each edit
