Update Your Business Hours on Bing Places

This article provides step-by-step instructions for updating your business hours on Bing Places, including how to add special hours for holidays or days when your business operates differently than usual.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • Administrative access to your Bing Places business listing
  • Your Bing account login credentials
  • The updated business hours information ready

Instructions

Step 1: Access Your Bing Places Account

  1. Navigate to bingplaces.com in your web browser
  2. Click Sign In and enter your account credentials
  3. Complete the login process

Step 2: Navigate to Your Business Dashboard

  1. Once logged in, locate your business listing
  2. Click on your business name to access your business dashboard
  3. This will open your business management panel

Step 3: Add Special Hours

  1. In your business information panel, look for the Add special hours option
  2. Click on Add special hours to open the special hours settings

Step 4: Configure Special Hours Settings

  1. You'll see the option: "Yes, I want to provide working hours for special days"
  2. Check the box next to this option to enable special hours functionality
  3. Two options will become available:
    • Add another holiday - for recognized holidays
    • Add another day - for any specific date with different hours

Step 5: Set Your Special Hours

  1. Select the appropriate option based on your needs:
    • Choose Add another holiday if you're setting hours for a recognized holiday
    • Choose Add another day for any other date with modified hours
  2. For each day you're either closed or have different operating hours:
    • Select the specific date
    • Set the modified hours or mark as closed
    • Repeat this process for all relevant dates

Step 6: Save Your Changes

  1. Once you've added all necessary special hours, review your entries for accuracy
  2. Click the Submit button to save your changes
  3. Your updated business hours will be reflected on your Bing Places listing

Important Notes

  • Special hours override your regular business hours for the specified dates
  • Changes may take a few minutes to appear in search results
  • Customers will see your special hours when searching for your business
  • You can modify or remove special hours at any time by returning to this section

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while updating your hours:

  • Ensure you're signed in to the correct Bing account
  • Verify you have administrative access to the business listing
  • Try refreshing the page if options don't appear
  • Clear your browser cache if the interface isn't loading properly
