Change the Lead/Contact Status

The success of your business depends heavily on the quality and volume of leads generated, as well as the traffic driven to your website. Growth99 allows business account users to view and manage all lead/contact details and statuses in one centralized location. The platform provides multiple criteria under which you can classify leads/contacts. Additionally, users can manually update the status of each lead/contact based on its potential to convert into a confirmed booking.  This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to manually change the status of a lead/contact in your Growth99 account.

Step 1: Access the Contacts Section

Log in to your Growth99 business account using your credentials.

From the navigation menu, click on Contacts.

Step 2: View and Select a Lead/Contact

Scroll down to view the list of leads generated by your business website.

Select the desired lead/contact.

You will see the Change Status button appear below the contact details.


Step 3: Update the Status

Click the Change Status button.

A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to update the contact's status from a drop-down menu.

Below are the available status types:

  • New – Recently generated leads/contacts.
  • Cold – Unresponsive to follow-up communications.
  • Warm – Moderately responsive to communication.
  • Hot – Highly interested and likely to book an appointment.
  • Won – Successfully converted into a confirmed booking.
  • Dead – Unresponsive and not booked for an appointment.
  • Junk – Irrelevant or invalid leads/contacts.
  • Pending – Awaiting further action or decision.



Step 4: Save and Confirm the Status

Select the status that best represents the current state of the lead/contact.

Once the status is updated, it will appear in the Status column on the Contact List page.
